Environmental Compliance

The Spirit of St. Louis Airport has a drainage area of approximately 1,350 acres. Because of the possibility that pollution may enter the storm water runoff through the Airport’s drainage system, the Airport has developed and implemented a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan. In addition, the Airport has developed a Tenant Pollution Prevention Plan and several guidance documents to assist airport tenants in complying with USEPA regulations and Airport policies. These documents can be found in this section. For any questions regarding the environmental policies, please contact Airport Administration.
